The small town with big spirit. Girgarre is passionate about music, markets and community.
Girgarre is a small rural community that is building a bright future through their events calendar and the introduction of Gargarro botanical gardens and events space.
The famous Farmers' Produce and Craft Market is a great family friendly day out. Relax and listen to live music while enjoying breakfast, free tea or coffee or sample from the many and varied food stalls. With up to an astounding 120 stalls, the market provides visitors and locals with the chance to sample the finest local small seasonal producers, alongside a range of artisan goods, arts and crafts.
Across from the market, is Gargarro Botanic Gardens. A project that is in its infancy but envisions the creation of a unique and world class botanical installation celebrating indigenous flora and precious water resources. The impressive Gargarro sound shell, creates the perfect event, live music and public exhibition space that is already well utilised with many annual events – or simply a great place to go for a walk or sit and relax.
